Bill on prevention of identity theft at RCL

The Prime Minister's Office has published on the RCL portal the following. A new version of the bill on identity theft prevention. The draft provides for the establishment of a register of reservations of PESEL numbers, where an adult will be able to reserve a PESEL in order to prevent a financial commitment. MIPs and KIPs, among others, will be subject to verification obligations - according to the draft, verification will take place before concluding an ROR agreement or a payment account credit agreement. The draft is currently at the stage of the Law Commission.
