Increased interest in construction companies in the context of BDO

The construction industry is one of the branches of the economy that has had to take the most far-reaching measures to adapt its operations to the new requirements for electronic waste records. Despite the one-year operation of the BDO system, numerous questions and doubts still arise in this regard. What's more, starting in 2021, waste records must already be kept fully in electronic form with no exceptions, which forces entrepreneurs, especially in the construction industry, to get into time-consuming and often unintuitive procedures. Indeed, it should be borne in mind that some materials, which can be useful raw materials from the point of view of construction companies such as, among others, soil from excavations, in the vast majority of cases should be treated as waste and managed under the regime of the Law of December 14, 2012 on waste. In addition, recent weeks have seen an increased focus on construction companies by the Provincial Environmental Inspectorate, which, during its inspections, detects many irregularities and imposes administrative fines, the amount of which can reach up to PLN 1,000,000.
