Great steps are approaching - the 13th International Factoring Congress (Warsaw, 21.09.2022)! All details related to the course and organization of this most important event for the industry you will find on the dedicated Congress website prepared by the PZF.
I encourage all Blog readers to attend the event, as the legal highlight of the Congress will be a Panel Discussion: "What's in the Factoring Law or Key Legislative Changes in an Era of Economic Turbulence" tentatively scheduled for 2:15 - 3:30 p.m. This Panel will cover a number of important legal changes - especially regarding SLIM VAT III, deductions, legislative work on limiting the prohibition on assignment, notice of assignment, KSEF, among others. The Panel will be moderated by Attorney Anna Hoss (r.pr. of the Firm: KGK Kancelaria Radcowska E. Guzowska i s-ka), and the panelists will be:
- Magdalena Ciechomska - Barczak (Vice President of ING Commercial Finance),
- Jacek Hartung (Legal Counsel),
- Katarzyna Matias (Business Support Department Director mFaktoring),
- Bartosz Nadra (Managing Partner of Jaskowiak Nadra Advocates),
- Joanna Płaza (Manager in Deloitte's Tax Advisory Team for Financial Institutions).
For anyone interested in legal developments in the industry, this will also be an interesting Panel because of the opportunity to hear the opinions of several people, each representing a point of view specific to the scope of their services and their specialty.
In addition, I am very pleased to announce that I have supported the PZF in the development of the PZF Almanac for 2022, distributed annually at the Congress, with regard to the legal part. In the Almanac you will find an article of my authorship:
